Usenet Newsgroup (NNTP) Setup

For Netscape

1. Open Netscape

2. Click on Edit and select Preferences

3. On the left Category window pane, click the + (plus) next to Mail & Newsgroups

4. Select Newsgroup Servers, then click the Add button and select news

5. In the Server field, type in news.igalaxy.net

6. Click OK

7. The news server should now appear in the servers list

8. Click OK

9. To access the newsgroup server: In your communicator browser, click Communicator, then select Newsgroups

10. To view the list of available newsgroups and/or to subscribe to a newsgroup, right click on the news server and select “ Subscribe to Newsgroups”

11. If prompted, enter your Internet Galaxy Username and Password

12. It may take a few minutes for the complete list of servers to load, after which you can subscribe or unsubscribe to any particular newsgroup
