Setting up America Online (AOL)

Did you know that AOL allows its subscribers to use other ISPs (Internet Service Providers) to connect to America Online? Well they do! They will even charge you less per month. Instead of paying AOL $23.90 per month, they will only charge you $14.95.

If you are sick and tired of the usual busy signal or the slow connection that AOL may provide you with, then you should use Internet Galaxy to connect to AOL. Here's how:

• Connect to your AOL Account
• Go to the Accounts & Billing area on AOL at Keyword: Billing.
• Click on "Change Billing Method or Price Plan" in the Update Your Info section.
• You will be prompted for you AOL Password. Please enter it and click on "Continue".
• Click on "Update Pricing Plan"
• Click on "$14.95/BYOA" and then click on "Select Plan"

Configuring AOL for BYOA

1. open AOL

2. At the Sign On screen, click the Setup button

3. Select Add or change a modem or other connection

4. Aol will now search for your connection device.

5. Select Use TCP/IP to connect

6. Click Next

7. Confirm TCP/IP is selected

8. Click Next

9. You are now ready to use AOL BYOA
